Embraer and Valkyrie Aero are enhancing the Embraer A-29 Super Tucano with advanced technology aimed at countering hostile drones, transforming the aircraft into a more intelligent and lethal counter-UAS platform. Central to the upgrade is Valkyrie’s Gunslinger suite, which introduces real-time tactical decision-making to support the “Find, Fix, Finish” engagement cycle against aerial threats. The system also boosts the aircraft’s existing sensors while providing a scalable capability designed to adapt to evolving drone tactics.
