AM General has introduced an upgraded version of its Hawkeye 105mm Mobile Howitzer System, a lightweight, highly mobile artillery platform designed for the demands of modern combat operations.
Unveiled at AUSA 2025, the new variant incorporates a reengineered chassis, enhanced powertrain, and a digital fire-control system, enabling smaller units to deliver rapid, precise, and adaptable fire support.
The improved Hawkeye can deploy, fire, and reposition in less than 90 seconds, giving crews the agility to evade counterbattery fire while sustaining a high operational tempo.
