China has introduced augmented reality (AR) headsets for armored vehicle crews to provide commanders, drivers, and gunners with improved battlefield visibility and faster response times.
The system integrates with external cameras and sensors on tanks and infantry fighting vehicles, displaying a 360-degree real-time view through a heads-up display.
This technology effectively enables crews to “see through” the vehicle’s armor, addressing the long-standing visibility challenge of heavily protected platforms.
