In the Talisman Sabre 2025 military drills with Australia, the US armed forces utilized L3Harris’ electronic warfare system to detect radars on a marine vessel. The cloud-hosted Distributed Spectrum Collaboration and Operations (DiSCO) system enhances response speed by merging data from sensors, communications, and various battlefield sources into a single EW network. During the exercise, it analyzed inputs from a connected aircraft and two Seasats Lightfish autonomous ships equipped with compact EW payloads. Previously, the system had been demonstrated in the Valiant Shield 2024 exercise with Japan, Canada, and France, and again in December in Washington, DC, where it operated as a Seasats Lightfish payload, gathering radio frequency intelligence for evaluation.
