Raytheon has initiated production of the SharpSight radar system, a next-generation multi-domain surveillance platform optimized for real-time, high-altitude imaging and broad-area tracking across land and sea.

Built on proven technologies from the HISAR and SeaVue radar families, SharpSight leverages an open-architecture framework for fast adaptation to both crewed and uncrewed aircraft, as well as streamlined upgrade cycles.

The system supports a wide range of missions, including coastal defense, anti-surface operations, border patrol, and search and rescue. Its onboard AIS capability enables it to simultaneously monitor over 1,000 targets, providing operators with precise situational intelligence.

With a 320-nautical-mile detection range and a weight of 129 kilograms, SharpSight is configurable with varied antenna types, allowing customization for different operational and platform needs.
