Uvision Group has taken full ownership of SpearUAV, a developer of encapsulated, AI-enabled loitering systems. The acquisition enhances Uvision’s footprint in the fast-expanding market for autonomous aerial munitions and broadens its product ecosystem across land, sea, air, and subsurface domains. SpearUAV’s Viper loitering systems offer reconnaissance, strike, EW, and counter-UAS capabilities from compact sealed canisters deployable by small units. Uvision’s HERO family serves higher-tier missions. By integrating both lines, Uvision aims to deliver a seamless portfolio for diverse operational levels. The acquisition follows a strategic investment made four years earlier and aligns with Uvision’s move into a new multifunction facility.
