ParaZero Technologies has secured its first DefendAir contract from a leading Israeli defense organization, marking a key milestone for the company’s counter-unmanned aerial system portfolio.

DefendAir is a low-collateral counter-drone solution that neutralizes hostile UAVs by capturing them with a net, minimizing the risk of unintended damage in operational environments. The contract covers multiple DefendAir units, along with system integration and training services to enable rapid operational deployment.

The Kefar Sava-based firm said the customer is accelerating efforts to strengthen counter-UAS capabilities in response to the growing threat posed by drones, which are increasingly viewed as a critical risk to ground forces and associated operations in recent and ongoing conflicts.

The award follows earlier DefendAir orders received in 2025, including a contract from a global defense company in October and another from a “prestigious defense organization” in August. In December 2025, ParaZero also conducted separate demonstrations of the DefendAir system for NATO representatives and the German military.

DefendAir can be deployed via an interceptor drone, a fixed turret, or a handheld launcher. Depending on configuration, the system offers an effective engagement range of 2 to 100 meters and employs nets ranging in size from 9 to 100 square meters. The solution can be further enhanced with optional radar, command-and-control relay, and radio-frequency modules to meet specific operational requirements.
