Taiwan plans to acquire 1,320 domestically built Kuai Chi attack uncrewed surface vessels (USVs) over the next five years, according to the Taipei Times.
The vessels will be delivered in three batches, allocated across the Navy’s Coastal Combat Command, the Marine Corps, and the Army Special Operations Command.
Oversight of the procurement and large-scale production will fall under Naval Command Headquarters, as directed by the Ministry of National Defense.
