Sweden has finalized a deal with Thales to acquire the Ground Master 200 Multi-Mission Compact (GM200 MM/C) radar system. Valued at 1 billion Swedish kronor (approximately $93 million), the contract outlines first deliveries in 2026. The GM200 MM/C will enhance Sweden’s air and surface surveillance capabilities and phase out the aging PS-871 radar currently in use.
