Theon International has won a contract exceeding 100 million euros ($115 million) from a European NATO member state to deliver several thousand night vision goggles, monoculars, and binoculars.
The deal forms part of a broader 300-million-euro ($344-million) multi-year framework agreement announced on October 17, covering deliveries of Theon’s new IRIS-C thermal clip-on systems.
Deliveries for the initial batch are scheduled across 2026, 2027, and 2028, with additional orders expected in the near to mid-term under the same framework, encompassing both night vision and thermal imaging systems.
This latest award follows a previous 50-million-euro ($58.7-million) contract to supply IRIS-C thermal clip-on systems to Germany and Belgium.
With the new order, Theon International’s cumulative contracts for the fiscal year now exceed 370 million euros ($425 million), while ongoing negotiations could add a further 441 million euros ($506.6 million) in new business.
As of November 4, the company’s backlog, excluding October invoices, stands at approximately 700 million euros ($804 million), with additional options worth about 720 million euros ($827 million).
