AM General has received a new $126.5 million order from the U.S. Army to deliver more M1165A1B3 Humvees, under an expanded contract now totaling $3 billion.

Although the number of vehicles in the latest delivery was not specified, the additions will supplement the Army’s existing inventory of about 120,000 Humvees.

Manufacturing will occur in South Bend, Indiana, with final deliveries expected by August 2027. AM General will work closely with the Army Contracting Command at Detroit Arsenal in Michigan to fulfill the order.

This new contract follows AM General’s recent $150 million agreement with Israel, which will see new Humvees delivered later this year to bolster the Israeli Defense Forces amid the conflict in Gaza and prepare for future operational needs.
