Poland has signed a defense cooperation agreement with Türkiye’s Aselsan to jointly produce and integrate the ARSUS 100 airborne reconnaissance system, strengthening bilateral ties and advancing Poland’s defense modernization program. The partnership focuses on co-manufacturing sensor systems for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) operations, enhancing situational awareness for Poland’s armed forces. Under the deal, Aselsan will provide core technologies and technical support, while local Polish defense firms will handle assembly, integration, and testing. The ARSUS 100 platform, known for its modularity and high-resolution imaging capabilities, will be customized to meet Polish operational requirements. This collaboration aligns with Poland’s strategy to localize advanced technologies while expanding industrial cooperation with NATO partners. Both sides expect the project to boost local production capabilities, create technical employment, and promote technology sharing between Turkish and Polish defense industries. The deal reflects a deepening of strategic defense cooperation between Ankara and Warsaw amid evolving regional security challenges. Once operational, the ARSUS 100 systems will enhance Poland’s aerial reconnaissance capacity and contribute to NATO’s collective intelligence network.
