Vection Technologies, an Australian developer of digital and extended reality solutions, has landed its biggest-ever contract to provide defense infrastructure for a NATO-approved partner in Europe.

Under the arrangement, Vection will integrate secure communication and computing systems with its INTEGRATEDXR platform, which merges AI capabilities with advanced digital visualization. The platform enables armed forces to interact with complex datasets through secure, immersive simulations and visualization tools.

The technology, piloted in 2024, will now be rolled out to safeguard key defense facilities across Europe. The agreement is worth 22.3 million AUD ($14.7 million), potentially rising to 29.5 million AUD ($19.4 million), with a program timeline extending through the end of the decade.

Vection emphasized that the delivery will be managed with existing resources, requiring no additional investment. The unnamed European client is already an approved supplier to NATO and the Council of Europe and partners extensively with major defense primes.

Including earlier commitments, the broader program now stands at 40 million AUD ($26.4 million), comprising 17.7 million AUD ($11.6 million) in signed contracts and 10.3 million AUD ($6.8 million) completed. Should the terms be extended, the initiative could grow further to 47.2 million AUD ($31.1 million).
