CACI International has been awarded a five-year, $416-million task order to modernize and sustain the US Navy’s IT systems under Naval Sea Systems Command, supporting initiatives to enhance fleet readiness and maritime maintenance operations.

The contract, awarded via the SeaPort-Next Generation program, backs the Navy Maritime Maintenance Enterprise Solution, a program aimed at streamlining logistics and maintenance processes for ships and submarines.

Over the duration of the contract, CACI will apply Industry 4.0 technologies, Agile software practices, and its Agile Solution Factory framework to migrate legacy IT systems into a unified, cloud-first environment.

The effort is designed to boost data-driven decision-making, improve resource management, increase operational efficiency, and reduce maintenance costs across the fleet.

Modernizing IT infrastructure remains a cornerstone of the Navy’s drive to enhance readiness and operational effectiveness. Recent comparable contracts include General Dynamics IT’s $988-million C5ISR modernization program in January 2026, Sev1Tech’s $49-million cybersecurity and engineering support deal in October 2025, and Agile Defense’s $44-million Military Sealift Command IT modernization program.
