CACI International has been awarded a five-year task order valued at up to $212 million to modernize enterprise-level network infrastructure across US Space Force installations.
The effort is part of the Department of Defense’s Enterprise Information Technology as a Service (EITaaS) Base Infrastructure Modernization program, which carries a total ceiling value of $12.5 billion and is intended to sustain and enhance digital and cyber capabilities across US air and space forces.
Under the award, CACI will deliver the transformation and consolidation of legacy network architectures to improve secure connectivity and data sharing in response to increasing mission-critical operational demands. The work will focus on upgrading base area networks that support communications between living quarters, operational facilities, and command centers at 14 Space Force bases.
The contract follows a separate CACI award received in December to support the US Army’s efforts to counter adversary electronic warfare capabilities. Valued at up to $79 million, that program centers on the development of radio-frequency-enabled technologies for the Army’s Combat Capabilities Development Command.
These solutions are intended to enhance explosive ordnance disposal operations and electronic countermeasure capabilities, improving force survivability and combat effectiveness against emerging threats.
