The Danish Ministry of Defence has awarded Rheinmetall MAN Military Vehicles (RMMV) a major framework contract to supply as many as 1,000 logistics trucks for its force-modernization initiative. The arrangement begins with an initial procurement of more than 100 HX and TG trucks, worth several tens of millions of euros. Overseen by the Ministry’s Acquisition and Logistics Organization (DALO), the program includes fleet sustainment, spare-parts supply, operator training, and long-term vehicle support. As part of the agreement, Denmark has also extended its current HX support contract for another four years.

RMMV is expected to begin delivering the vehicles before late 2027. The HX truck family, widely used across NATO, is designed to operate in demanding terrains and mission environments. Available in configurations ranging from 4×4 to 10×10, the series supports payloads of 5 to 16 tons. The trucks are powered by 440-horsepower MAN D2066 Euro 4 diesel engines, offering top speeds of up to 100 km/h and operational ranges reaching 800 kilometers. Their modular build, 400-liter fuel capacity, and ability to carry up to 17,000 kilograms make them a critical backbone for Denmark’s logistics operations.

The new fleet will significantly strengthen Denmark’s heavy infantry brigade by improving mobility, endurance, and logistical resilience. The HX platform’s proven performance and NATO-standard compatibility further elevate Denmark’s long-term military readiness and operational flexibility. With enhanced payload capacity and rugged all-terrain mobility, the HX lineup remains one of the most trusted logistic vehicle solutions across European defense forces.

Complementing the HX trucks, RMMV’s TG series—developed from MAN’s commercial heavy-vehicle range—will also support Denmark’s logistics modernization. The TG-MIL and TGS-MIL variants feature power outputs between 340 and 540 horsepower, payloads of up to 17 tons, and operational ranges surpassing 800 kilometers. Their durable design, 400-liter fuel tanks, and multi-role adaptability provide Denmark with a highly capable and cost-efficient logistics fleet suited for long-distance military transport and operational deployments.
