US Navy Awards HII Up to $267M for Training Support Services
HII’s Mission Technologies unit has been awarded a multiple-award contract valued at up to $267 million to provide advanced training solutions to the US Navy.
The deal gives HII the opportunity to deliver task orders to the Naval Education and Training Professional Development Center and other training commands. Work will include curriculum development, Navy e-learning systems, and digital tools to enhance training, career progression, and readiness for evolving naval missions.
Track Record in Military Training
The award builds on HII’s growing defense training portfolio. In June, it secured a $379-million US Army contract for live training systems at combat ranges. A few months earlier, it earned a $182-million Air Force order for sustaining F-16 training simulators.
Last year, HII was tasked by the Air Force to develop the Joint Training Synthetic Environment, an integrated live-virtual training framework designed for US and allied forces.
