Xtend, an Israeli drone firm, will supply 5,000 first-person view (FPV) attack drones to Israel’s Ground Forces for 3,500 ILS ($40) per unit, with a total value of roughly 20 million ILS ($5.87M). The contract also covers operating stations, VR glasses, and an option to double the order. Each 10-inch drone can carry 2.5 kg (5.5 lbs) payloads and is expected to support combat battalions at the company level, boosting operational effectiveness.
