In a key development reflecting its continued support of national defense, Moog has signed a follow-on contract with Leonardo DRS for the second year of comprehensive spares for the U.S. Army’s SGT Stout program. The deal ensures sustained support for all currently deployed SGT Stout systems—an essential part of America’s mobile air defense capabilities—with deliveries scheduled through June 2026.
“As the OEM of the Reconfigurable Integrated-weapons Platform (RIwP®), Moog remains dedicated to supplying high-quality, mission-ready solutions for the U.S. Army,” the company stated. “We are committed to ensuring the RIwP turrets remain at peak operational readiness.”
The SGT Stout system, officially the Maneuver-Short Range Air Defense (M-SHORAD) program, is designed to shield frontline units from evolving aerial threats, including drones and other low-altitude platforms.
