Sweden and Finland have jointly ordered over 300 additional Sisu GTP 4×4 armored off-road vehicles, raising total orders above 600 units. Valued at around 2 billion SEK ($211 million), the procurement includes variants such as single-cab, command, medical, air-defense, and CBRN-detection models. Deliveries coincide with earlier schedules thanks to increased production capacity. Sweden’s deliveries will occur from 2026 to 2028. The Sisu GTP is engineered for extreme off-road performance with independent suspension, full-axle differential locks, winch provisions, traction chains, and a Central Tire Inflation System. It offers 0.4-meter ground clearance, a 45-degree approach angle, and 60-percent gradient capability. Powered by a Mercedes-Benz OM926 engine, it supports modular armor meeting STANAG 4569 standards with optional CBRN protection kits.
