South Korea’s HD Hyundai Heavy Industries will deliver the BRP Diego Silang (FFG-07) to the Philippine Navy. The ship, second of the Miguel Malvar-class frigates, evolved from the Jose Rizal design with upgrades including VLS and advanced sensors. Each costs $250M, with construction begun in 2023. Deliveries of the two-ship program are slated for 2025–2026.
