British marine engineering specialist ScaffFloat has introduced the MilFloat, a multipurpose floating platform tailored for military operations requiring speed and adaptability.
The platform, measuring 16 meters long and 6.4 meters wide (52 by 21 feet), is self-propelled and compact enough to fit into standard containers or be hauled by flatbed trucks. With a maximum payload of 30 tonnes (66,138 pounds), it is built to stay afloat even under hostile fire.
Company visuals highlight the system’s strength by showing the MilFloat transporting a CVT FV103 Spartan armored personnel carrier, demonstrating its operational flexibility and load capacity.
