Indian defence technology firm Zen Technologies has unveiled the Zen HyperStrike at the North Tech Symposium 2026 in Prayagraj, introducing a new indigenous long-range strike system capable of engaging targets at ranges exceeding 400 kilometres. The announcement formed part of the company’s broader showcase of advanced defence technologies aimed at enhancing India’s future battlefield capabilities.

Although detailed technical specifications remain undisclosed, Zen Technologies has positioned HyperStrike alongside other next-generation systems in its portfolio, including an AI-enabled Anti-Drone System, Smart Airburst Ammunition, the Vrishab Unmanned Ground Vehicle, and the Zen Bijli directed-energy weapon.

With a reported range of over 400 km, HyperStrike has the potential to target high-value assets such as command centres, logistics hubs, air-defence networks, and critical infrastructure from significant stand-off distances. If developed as a precision-guided missile, loitering munition, or autonomous strike platform, it could mark Zen Technologies’ entry into a domain traditionally dominated by government-led missile programmes and established defence manufacturers.

At present, the system remains in its early public phase, with information limited to its range and intended role as a long-range strike asset. Further disclosures will be required to determine its propulsion system, payload capacity, guidance architecture, launch platform, and operational mission profile.
