Lockheed Martin has enlisted Core Systems as a partner in its proposal for the Golden Dome missile defense program—an advanced U.S. initiative targeting high-end airborne threats.
As part of the deal, Core Systems will deliver durable rack infrastructure for the Long Range Discrimination Radar (LRDR), a vital sensor in the planned system architecture.
Together with the TPY-6 and Sentinel A4 radars, the LRDR will enhance the program’s ability to detect, track, and respond to ballistic and hypersonic missiles in real time.
