Vantiq and MMAA C&C have entered into a strategic partnership to accelerate the adoption of artificial intelligence across South Korea’s defense sector. The collaboration will focus on enhancing military capabilities through AI-powered command-and-control systems, drone integration, logistics optimization, cyber resilience, and real-time operational decision-making.
The two companies signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to jointly develop defense AI initiatives while engaging active-duty military personnel through a planned outreach program. Their efforts will explore the application of agentic AI, edge computing, and real-time data processing to support manned-unmanned teaming, logistics management, cybersecurity, and other critical military operations.
Signed on June 18 at MMAA C&C’s headquarters, the agreement establishes a framework for cooperation on next-generation defense technologies and future business opportunities. As part of the initiative, the partners will host a 2026 Defense AI Roadshow, bringing together military personnel to discuss operational challenges and evaluate practical AI applications. The program aims to identify real-world defense use cases while gathering direct feedback from service members, with discussions centered on AI-enabled command-and-control capabilities and edge computing technologies that process data closer to the battlefield.
