Hyundai Rotem is set to introduce its K2 main battle tank to the Middle Eastern market with a redesigned version optimized for the region’s extreme heat and sand-laden conditions. The new variant, named K2ME, incorporates a high proportion of locally-sourced components and integrates upgrades specifically intended to ensure reliable performance in harsh environments. The tank is equipped with a domestically developed powerpack radiator system, designed to draw in external air and maintain critical engine functions under high temperatures.
