Saudi Arabia has unveiled the SKYWASP, a new long-range attack drone developed as part of the country’s expanding domestic defense industry. With a reported operational range of 1,500 kilometers, the unmanned aircraft is designed to conduct deep-strike missions against strategic targets. Its aerodynamic layout features a delta wing, integrated fuselage, forward payload section, and rear pusher propeller, giving it a profile similar to several modern loitering munitions. The introduction of the SKYWASP signals Saudi Arabia’s intention to strengthen its independent drone production and long-range precision strike capabilities.
