The Republic of China Army has officially presented its newly adopted M1167 Humvee tactical ground system in Taichung, designed for improved battlefield survivability and operational flexibility. Equipped with reinforced armor and upgraded firepower, the vehicle supports advanced TOW anti-tank missile systems capable of engaging threats in a 360-degree range. It also offers increased cargo and passenger capacity, along with deployment flexibility via air-drop or helicopter sling-load. The M1167 is powered by a 190-hp turbo diesel engine, reaching speeds up to 113 km/h, and can be outfitted with additional armor kits based on mission needs.
