German defense company ARX Robotics has unveiled the Combat Gereon unmanned ground vehicle (UGV), designed with the concept of “first unmanned contact”—deploying robots into hazardous missions ahead of soldiers.
The system is based on the firm’s Gereon RCS platform, reconfigured into a combat-capable model with AI integration.
Its backbone is the Mithra operating system, which enables fleet connectivity, seamless software updates, and mission adaptability across different scenarios.
