Domo Tactical Communications (DTC), headquartered in Virginia, has unveiled the Sentry 6161 tactical radio, engineered for frontline deployment but versatile enough for civil, commercial, and critical infrastructure operators.

With its software-defined design, the radio can operate across different bands and networks, ensuring adaptability for a wide range of missions. It supports both traditional clip-on batteries and modern centralized packs, enabling lighter loads and longer operating times.

The device is built to function reliably in contested conditions, including areas with GPS interference or compromised communications infrastructure.

Field tests showed that the Sentry 6161 can integrate with allied networks, handle multiple waveforms, and switch power systems without interruption. Its modular build also allows for easier servicing and cost-efficient upgrades.
