Taiwan has introduced the Strong Bow, its latest indigenous anti-ballistic missile system, designed to counter high-flying cruise weapons.

As the first locally developed surface-to-air missile equipped with an AESA fire control radar, the system can simultaneously monitor and intercept multiple incoming targets with enhanced accuracy.

With an interception ceiling of 70 kilometers (43.5 miles), Strong Bow strengthens Taiwan’s layered missile defense architecture, complementing systems like the Sky Bow III, which addresses lower-altitude threats.
