Germany’s Mehler Protection has introduced an advanced counter-unmanned aerial system (C-UAS) aimed at strengthening vehicle defenses by intercepting aerial threats before they can strike.
Designed to defeat first-person-view drones, kamikaze UAVs, and loitering munitions, the SCILT system combines effector modules, integrated sensors, and embedded fire-control software within the vehicle platform itself.
Its effector module supports a range of ammunition types, including conventional shotgun shells, rubber rounds, hardened-core projectiles, tungsten fragment loads, and armor-piercing munitions.
