Honeywell Aerospace has unveiled a $500 million investment aimed at strengthening its role as a major supplier to the US Department of Defense. The funding will support the modernization of its manufacturing infrastructure under a framework agreement with the Pentagon, enabling increased production of critical airborne systems. Enhancements will focus on advanced navigation technologies designed for persistent situational awareness in complex operational environments, as well as the company’s proprietary Assure actuator systems that improve missile agility. The initiative will also expand output of electronic warfare solutions for US fighter aircraft, including contributions to the Surface Electronic Warfare Improvement Program and the Advanced Medium-Range Air-to-Air Missile portfolio.
