Belgium is preparing to strengthen the combat capability of its F-35 fighter aircraft after the US approved a potential $236-million sale of AGM-184 Joint Strike Missiles. The package includes missiles, training equipment, spare parts, repair support, and related logistics elements. Developed by Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace with support from RTX, the stealthy cruise missile is optimized for the F-35 platform and designed for anti-ship and precision land-attack missions in contested environments. With a range exceeding 350 kilometers, the JSM enhances NATO interoperability and provides Belgium with advanced strike capabilities for future air operations.
