EuroTrophy has secured a €330 million ($383 million) contract with KNDS Deutschland to supply Trophy Active Protection Systems for the Leopard 2A8 fleets of Lithuania, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, and Croatia. The agreement includes the delivery of systems along with spare parts, training, and comprehensive logistical support. EuroTrophy said the deal positions Trophy as NATO’s preferred active protection system, providing the full range of protection required for operations on the alliance’s eastern flank and across modern battlefields. Trophy is fitted as standard on the Leopard 2A8, enabling all four nations to field a common configuration. The system is already integrated on multiple main battle tanks, including the Leopard 2, M1 Abrams, and Merkava IV, as well as lighter platforms such as the Boxer, Patria AMV, and other infantry vehicles. Designed to intercept threats before impact, Trophy can defeat anti-tank guided missiles, rockets, HEAT rounds, and RPGs, operating effectively in complex, multi-directional threat environments while stationary or on the move. Using automated radar-based detection and countermeasures, the system also identifies the point of origin of attacks and shares this data through connected battle management networks.
