The U.S. Army has awarded Anduril a $99.6 million contract to develop and deliver a next-generation command and control (NGC2) prototype as the lead of a multi-company collaboration.

Known as “Team Anduril,” the consortium includes Palantir, Striveworks, Govini, Instant Connect Enterprise, Research Innovations, Inc., and Microsoft. Operating under an 11-month Other Transaction Authority (OTA) agreement, the team will provide an integrated and scalable command and control solution for the Army’s 4th Infantry Division to support field experimentation.

Once the system is delivered, the 4th ID and Team Anduril will carry out a series of hands-on soldier exercises to evaluate the system’s functionality and identify areas for improvement, potentially involving additional industry partners going forward.
