Israeli defense company SMARTSHOOTER has secured a follow-on contract worth $10.7 million to supply its advanced SMASH 2000LE fire control systems to the US Army, strengthening the firm’s footprint in the American defense market.

The agreement expands an existing partnership with Washington that previously included initial deliveries to the US Army, alongside separate procurements by the US Marine Corps and the US Air Force.

Deliveries under the new contract are scheduled to continue through the third quarter of 2026.

According to the company, the acquisition was managed through the US Army’s newly established Portfolio Acquisition Executive – Defensive Fires office, while Virginia-based Atlantic Diving Supply supported the execution of the deal.

SMASH Technology

The SMASH 2000LE belongs to SMARTSHOOTER’s lightweight handheld fire-control system family, combining artificial intelligence, computer vision, and advanced tracking algorithms to improve targeting accuracy.

Designed for infantry and precision shooters, the system is capable of engaging both ground and aerial threats, including drones.

The latest 2000LE variant, also referred to as the SMASH 3000SA, incorporates expanded networking capabilities that enable integrated battlefield data sharing and improved battle-management functions across connected systems.

SMARTSHOOTER previously stated that its SMASH technology has already been deployed during recent operations by the Israel Defense Forces and is currently integrated with NATO small arms platforms.
