Texas-based Allen Control Systems (ACS) has secured contracts with South Korea and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to deliver its “Bullfrog” autonomous counter-drone weapon systems.

The agreements also include operator training, technical support, and sustainment services, though details regarding the number of systems and contract value have not been disclosed.

The Bullfrog System

ACS describes its flagship Bullfrog as “the only near-term viable solution for close-in kinetic defeat at scale.” The system leverages artificial intelligence and is compatible with both legacy and modern weapons, allowing precise engagement of drone targets in land and maritime environments.

The Bullfrog family includes multiple configurations — M240, M2, M230, and M134 — designed to neutralize Group 1 to 3 uncrewed aerial systems (UAS) within an operational range of 800 to 1,500 meters (2,625 to 4,921 feet).

Each variant integrates passive sensors and employs an open architecture, ensuring easy interoperability with existing command-and-control (C2) networks.

ACS also revealed a co-production deal with Romania and the establishment of new regional offices in Asia and Europe to meet increasing global demand.

Additionally, the company signed a contract with ManTech to integrate Bullfrog systems into maritime platforms supporting U.S. Special Operations Forces.

Recently, ACS demonstrated the Bullfrog to the Pentagon, mounting the system on U.S. Army Abrams main battle tanks and Bradley infantry fighting vehicles during field trials.
