Gaxos.ai portfolio company America First Defense (AFD) has started deploying the Anduril Lattice platform to enhance counter-unmanned aerial system (C-UAS) capabilities, including operations against coordinated drone swarms.
The platform is designed to detect, track, assess, and respond to unmanned aerial threats. By integrating Lattice into its operations, AFD is moving toward a software-defined command-and-control environment that unifies detection, data processing, and response into a single operational layer.
Lattice functions as an open, system-agnostic software solution, aggregating data from distributed sensors and connected defense networks, including surveillance feeds and command infrastructures. Using AI and advanced data-processing algorithms, it filters and prioritizes critical information, providing operators with a consolidated operational picture. Operators can also task connected sensors or response assets directly through the interface, enabling faster threat recognition and coordinated countermeasures.
Gaxos.ai emphasized that this deployment marks a significant operational milestone for AFD, reflecting growing demand for adaptive counter-drone solutions amid increasing drone activity in military and civilian contexts. The rollout follows AFD’s recent US Navy license for the Detachable Drone Highjacker, an airborne C-UAS payload capable of selectively neutralizing hostile drones via cyber effects. Mounted on friendly drones, this system offers precise air-to-air disruption compared to traditional electronic warfare methods.
