Pilatus Aircraft of Switzerland has secured a contract to supply 12 PC-24 twin-engine light jets to the Indonesian Air Force, marking a significant step in enhancing its aviation training and transport capabilities. The aircraft will support pilot training for transport missions, liaison roles, and instrument flight operations.

The agreement also includes ground support equipment, spare parts, specialized tools, and technical assistance, all to be delivered from Pilatus’ headquarters in Stans. Additionally, the deal provides an option for Indonesia to procure more aircraft in the future.

Alongside this acquisition, Pilatus and Indonesian authorities have signed a letter of intent for the potential purchase of 24 PC-21 advanced turboprop trainer aircraft, with a similar support package.

The company described these developments as the foundation of a long-term partnership with Indonesia. Pilatus has already delivered over 200 units each of the PC-24 and PC-21 to global operators, including countries such as France, Canada, Saudi Arabia, and Spain.
