Israel Weapon Industries (IWI), part of the SK Group, has delivered thousands of X95 Micro-TAVOR assault rifles to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), reinforcing infantry capabilities with a proven combat platform. In service since 2006, the X95 is deployed across units in both standard rifleman and designated marksman roles.

Chambered in 5.56×45 mm, the compact bullpup rifle is engineered for urban warfare, underground operations, and close-quarters combat. Its design integrates a longer barrel within a shorter overall frame, while the use of lightweight polymer components enhances maneuverability without compromising firepower. The rifle operates on a closed-bolt gas piston system and features modular, interchangeable components, supporting flexible handling and simplified maintenance in demanding environments.

Additional capabilities include ambidextrous controls, integrated backup sights, a full-length 360-degree Picatinny rail for accessories, and a rear-biased center of gravity that reduces recoil. The X95 offers an effective range of approximately 500 meters and a firing rate of up to 950 rounds per minute.
