V2X has received a US Navy contract to upgrade survivability systems on Marine Corps KC-130J tanker and transport aircraft. The program includes integrating the Large Aircraft Infrared Countermeasures system, which protects aircraft from heat-seeking missile threats by automatically detecting launches and deploying countermeasures. The KC-130J is a multi-role aircraft used for aerial refueling, troop transport, cargo delivery, medical evacuation, and expeditionary missions. Work will be conducted at V2X’s Florida facility, which supports aircraft testing, manufacturing, and systems integration. The award further expands the company’s growing portfolio of military modernization and counter-drone programs.
