The US Navy has selected CACI International to modernize enterprise information systems supporting Military Sealift Command through a contract worth up to $113 million. Military Sealift Command operates one of the world’s largest civilian-crewed logistics fleets, delivering fuel, equipment, humanitarian assistance, medical support, and military cargo to naval forces worldwide. CACI will provide advanced software development, cloud migration, cybersecurity enhancements, engineering support, and program management while introducing artificial intelligence, automation, and data analytics into key operational business applications. These technologies are expected to improve operational efficiency, reduce administrative complexity, strengthen cybersecurity, and provide commanders with better access to mission-critical information. The modernization initiative supports long-term efforts to create more resilient and data-driven logistics operations capable of sustaining global naval missions. By improving digital infrastructure and enterprise software performance, the contract contributes to greater fleet readiness and more efficient support for US and allied maritime operations.
