Poland has finalized a nearly $2 billion agreement with the United States to bolster its air defense capabilities, reinforcing its strategic position on NATO’s eastern front amid continued conflict in Ukraine. The deal includes training, logistics, and equipment support for the Patriot air defense system developed by Raytheon. This builds on the initial phase of Poland’s Wisła program, which already deployed two Patriot batteries equipped with PAC-3 MSE interceptors and the Integrated Battle Command System (IBCS).
