UAE-based defense company EDGE has introduced its ANAVIA HT-100 unmanned helicopter to Brazil, showcasing its advanced capabilities during a demonstration at the Army Activities Centre in Rio de Janeiro. The event, attended by Brazilian Armed Forces personnel, highlighted the drone’s swift 15-minute readiness time, advanced flight maneuvers, and real-time mapping through BVLOS (beyond visual line of sight) operations. The HT-100 completed figure-eight patterns, hover tests, and low-altitude orbits, reinforcing EDGE’s ambition to expand into Latin America.
