Australian defense company Electro Optic Systems (EOS) has secured a €71.4 million ($83 million) contract to produce and supply a 100-kilowatt-class laser-based counter-drone system.
The buyer, an undisclosed European NATO member, is expected to receive deliveries between 2025 and 2028.
The agreement includes spare parts, training, and documentation, with all deliveries to be handled from EOS’s laser innovation center in Singapore.
