BAE Systems Information and Electronic Warfare Systems, headquartered in Hudson, New Hampshire, has received a $1.743 billion firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to produce and deliver up to 55,000 Advanced Precision Kill Weapon System II (APKWS II) rockets.
The agreement spans Full-Rate Production Lots 13 through 17 and will supply the U.S. Navy, U.S. Army, and approved Foreign Military Sales (FMS) partners. Deliveries are scheduled through December 2031, ensuring a steady flow of one of the U.S. military’s most widely used precision-guided weapons.
This marks one of the largest procurement commitments for APKWS II to date, reflecting the Pentagon’s plan to expand its stockpile of affordable, precision munitions. Covering five production lots, the deal ensures long-term industrial stability and continuous availability for both domestic and allied forces.
