Portugal has accepted its first three A-29N Super Tucanos from Embraer at Alverca do Ribatejo. The 200M-euro program covers 12 aircraft, a simulator, logistics, and support. The multi-mission turboprop offers NATO-standard mission systems, precision targeting, integrated weapons, and advanced communications. With a top speed of 320 knots and endurance exceeding 5 hours with tanks, it enhances Portugal’s light attack and training fleet.
