Northrop Grumman has started shipping the Mk44 Bushmaster II autocannon for Poland’s new Borsuk IFV. The 30mm chain-gun, widely used in NATO, delivers 100–200 rounds/min and up to 5,100m range. Mounted on Borsuk, Poland’s first indigenous tracked IFV, it provides superior firepower to replace BMP-1s. The $1.7B program aims for 111 units by 2029, with plans for a fleet of 1,400 vehicles.
