Redwire’s Edge Autonomy has signed a contract to provide its Stalker UAS to a European NATO country, though specifics such as contract size, delivery timeline, and unit numbers have not been made public.
The deal covers aircraft systems, spare components, and operator training.
The Stalker VXE30, a long-range Group 2 UAS, is designed for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance missions. It features autonomous vertical take-off and landing and a flexible modular design that supports rapid reconfiguration for different payloads.
With a 22-kilogram (49-pound) weight, it flies at speeds above 50 knots (93 km/h), reaches up to 15,000 feet (4,572 meters), and sustains missions of more than eight hours.
The drone provides a 160-kilometer (99-mile) communication link, can be set up in 10 minutes, and is operated by a two-person team.
